Composition
I was in my living room when I took the picture of the balloon. The subject matter is the balloon.
In the picture of the tree branch was taken at a very close distance. Maybe just a couple inches away.
The picture of the brick wall was taken from below. This is a vertical line of sight.
Yes I considered rule of thirds. I did this with pictures 1, 3, and 5.
Picture four, the one with the hose, is the dynamic picture. Your eye follows the hose throughout the picture.

What is the distance in the shot? (How close or far away are you from your subject?)
All of the pictures, with the exception to the one of the light in the hallway, were taken at a relatively close distance.
What was your point of view when you took the photos? (from above, below, straight on...)
Pictures one and four were taken at an angle from below. Picture three was taken straight on. Pictures 2, 5 and 6 were taken from above.
Is your photograph horizontal or vertical?
All of the pictures seem vertical rather than horizontal.
Does this photo follow the rule of thirds? Why or why not? (Describe).
The rule of thirds was taken into account mostly in picture 3. The bottom of the doors are like a horizon and they are on the border of the grid.
Is this photo an example of pattern, texture and/or rhythm? Explain.
Pictures 1 and six are displays of texture. Pictures 3 and 4 are displays of pattern. Pictures 2 and 5 can be considered both pattern and texture.
Which one of the images is the best example of proper exposure?
The best example of proper exposure could be picture number five. There is a lot of contrast between the white leaf and the black background and also the black spots on the white leaves.
